Authentication

Authentication based on user ID and password. Each user has to sign on with their unique ID.

Access Control

Role-based access to various parts of the system such as for clinical and non-clinical activities. Privileges are administered by security administrator.

Transmission Security

Support transmission over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) which is the highest industry standard secure transmission protocol. All data transmitted through the network is encrypted using 128-bit encryption. This is specially important when transmitting data over the wireless network.

Audit Trail

User Activity Logging and Audit Trail which can be viewed by administrator.

Auto Logout

System will automatically logout if a user is inactive for a predefined duration of time. This ensures protection from unauthorized users.

Database Security

Database back up and restore mechanism. Sensitive data such as user passwords (etc) are stored encrypted in the database.
