Security
- Encrypted transmission over Secure Socket Layer (SSL )to protect clinical data
- Role based access allows users with appropriate authority to view/edit only those portions of chart data which they are authorized to.
- Charts are locked to prevent accidental modification or editing. To edit chart, user has to explicitly click "edit" button to turn the chart into editable mode.
- Signed encounters become non-editable to prevent editing. However, addendum could be added to a signed encounter.
